Joseph D. DiLoffi Jr. of Framingham, MA passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025 at the age of 73.  Joseph was born on July 5, 1951 in “The Lake” section of Newton. The son of the late Joseph D. DiLoffi and Mary E. (Silva) DiLoffi. Grandson of the late Antonio DiLoffi and Assunta (Martini) DiLoffi of Newton and James E. Silva and Beatrice (Quinn) Silva of Roxbury, MA.

Devoted father of son Anthony DiLoffi of Framingham and daughter Charlene DiLoffi of Whitman. Loving Grandfather of Olivia DiLoffi and Daniel DiLoffi of Framingham and Tyler Hunt and Leo Bolster of Whitman and Maggie Hunt of Franklin.

He is survived by his sisters Mary (DiLoffi) McLaughlin of Framingham and the late Robert G. McLaughlin, Susan (DiLoffi) Antonellis and her husband Nino Antonellis of Framingham and Theresa (DiLoffi) Taylor of Framingham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.

Joseph graduated from Newton North High School. Early in his career he worked at Milwaukee tools, after that he went on to have a successful career as a salesman at Morrell Builders in Hyde Park followed by Cape Cod Lumber in Abington. His co-workers and customers meant the world to him and brought him such joy. Joe had a knack for keeping them all laughing. Joe was a devoted fan of the Patriots and Celtics. He cherished his time with loved ones, and his memory will be deeply missed by everyone.

Visitation will be held on Thursday April 3 from 4:00 – 8:00pm at Andrew J. Magni and Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown Street, Newton, MA 02458. No flowers for the wake please. 

Funeral from the Magni Funeral Home on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Church Newton at 10:30AM. Interment in Newton Cemetery.

Joe's family kindly requests donations to the St Mary of Carmen Society in honor of Joseph D. DiLoffi. The St. Mary of Carmen Society of Nonantum hosts an annual Feast in honor of the Madonna and is celebrating its 90th Anniversary this year.
