On Decemeber 1, 2024 our hearts were filled with great sorrow with the passing of Allan L. Ciccone. Allan was surrounded by his loved ones. Allan was born and raised in Newton and was a graduate of Newton High School. After high school Allan enlisted in the Army and served in Korea in The Vietnam War. Upon returning from the Army, he became a Newton Police Officer for seventeen years and was the President of the Police Union. After retirement he went on to serve the City of Newton further by being an Alderman for several years.

 

Devoted and loving husband for fifty four years of the late Patricia Maloney Ciccone. After Patti passing Allan found a second love with his wife, Pauline Carroll. Father of the late Allan "Jay" Ciccone Jr., Margie Ciccone and husband Thomas Smith, Shannon DeStefano and husband Thomas, his stepchildren the late Mary Kaufman and Joe Carroll.  Loving Grandfather of Robert March and Fiancé Lyla Puggioni, Julie Quatromini and husband Craig, Allan Ciccone, Joseph Ciccone and wife Mihaela, Caitlin Connolly and husband Christopher, Colleen Ciccone and Fiancé Evan Schultz, Casey Kendall and Ryan, Thomas, Daniella DeStefano. Adored Great Grandchildren Cody, Brady, Brooke, Alessia, Jacqueline, Patricia, Connor, Logan, Cameron, Carson, Colton. 

 

Dear Brother of Loretta Schiavone, Frank Ciccone, Robert Ciccone and the late Nancy Donahue, Richard Ciccone and Eldridge Ciccone. Son of the late Erma and Eldridge Ciccone. Sister in law of Margaret Norcott and Mimi Ciccone. Best friend of seventy years, Jack O'Grady along with many nieces and nephews.

 

Allan was known for being a genuine down to earth guy. Truly a selfless man who would give you the shirt off his back. He guided with strength, patience and so much love. He always knew how to bring joy to everyone's heart.

 

Allan will be laid to rest with his best friend, Allan " Jay" Ciccone Jr. and devoted wife, Patricia Ciccone. Services for Allan will be Monday December 16, 2024 in a private family service. Donations in his honor may be made to the Allan "Jay" Ciccone Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund.
